Neighbors' Favorite London Broil Marinade

"When my neighbors were all emailing and calling each other for this recipe, I knew it must be pretty good. I am posting it here for safe keeping. I might be tempted to marinate it for two days, although 1/2 a cup of lemon juice is quite a bit for two days."

• Serves: 9-10

ingredients

• 3 lbs london broil beef (about 3 pounds, 2 inches thick)
• 1 cup salad oil
• 3⁄4 cup soy sauce
• 1⁄2 cup lemon juice
• 1⁄4 cup prepared mustard
• 1⁄4 cup Worcestershire sauce
• 1⁄4 cup chopped onion
• 1⁄2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
• 2 garlic cloves, minced

directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a large ziplock bag. Add a London broil that has been well pierced with a fork. Marinate for 24 hours in the frig, turning occasionally.
