This was the best sugar cream pie I have made. I have tried ot make sugar cream pie two other times and they came out soupy. This recipe was excellent. I had never had or heard of a Sugar cream pie until I moved to Indiana. This pie was excellent and now I can enjoy a homemade sugar cream pie. Thanks for the recipe. LisaReply

I followed this recipe as written but I had some trouble with it..which may me because I don't make pies very often. The custard was rich but sunk down in the crust. This may have to do with our elavation so I will have to play with the temperature. Still in spite of a somewhat distracting appearance, the custard was creamy and sweet.Reply
