  • Grind the toasted sesame seeds with a mortar and pestle.
  • In a bowl, combine all ingredients well.
  • Store in a tightly capped jar in the refrigerator.

  5. This is a relatively low-sodium (salt) seasoning, which was a lrge attraction for me. It also contains my favorite herb thyme. The combination of the thyme and lemon I knew I would like, but the toasted sesame flavor blends in well, too. I've used it so far in stir-fries and pilaf and to both it provides a nice accent.
