DIRECTIONS

  • Slice carrots in half lengthwise; place in a saucepan.
  • cover carrots with water; add salt.
  • cover and simmer over medium-high heat for about 20 minutes.
  • in a separate small saucepan, mix butter, mustard and brown sugar.
  • cook and stir over medium heat for 3 minutes, or until syrupy.
  • drizzle butter mixture over carrots; simmer for 5 minutes.
  • sprinkle with parsley before serving .
