Steak Sauce Mushroom & Onions

My dad loved A1 and worcestershire, he would always make this side to go along with our steaks. If you don't like A-! omit it and add lemon juice and some soy sauce to taste.

I wanted to use up the onions I bought for a different recipe so I chose this one and ate this side dish with quinoa and hamburger patties. I replaced the steak sauce with the Worcestershire sauce using Lea & Perrins which says is gluten free. I used white button mushrooms which didn't overpower the other ingredients. It all made for a more pleasant meal adding substance to a plain Jane menu! I paired a Haut-Medoc Bordeaux red wine and enjoyed a few delicious dinners!Reply
