Morir Soñando

"This is a refreshing beverage once again from my country. It's a funny name because it actually means "To die while sleeping" I don't know why. In the Dominican Republic this is usually made with fresh squeezed oranges; it tastes much better."

 1. Made for Spring PAC 08 - This recipe intrigued me when I saw it... and had to try it! Halved the recipe and didn't add any sugar - and LOVED IT! This will be great on a hot warm Summer day! Thanks Kitty Kat!

 2. Yum!! My parents used to make this when I was younger. I used fat-free evaporated milk and added a little lemon juice to this. If you really wanted to take it to another level, you could use freshly-squeezed OJ, but that's a little too intense for me. :) Thanks for bringing me back to this old favorite!

I am a young cook and as a child I was always watching cooking shows. My favorite thing to do was to pretend I was hosting a show behind the breakfast bar, lol, but I love the cooking, love the food. I am very eager to try new recipes, and that's why I am here!

Visit my shop by clicking the provided link to access a variety of Dominican products!
