Mom's Awesomely Easy & Delicious Sugar Cookies

"This recipe came from my Mom, I'm not sure where she got it. But this is a standard sugar cookie recipe, perfect for cut-out cookies."

• Yields: 36 cookies

ingredients

• 3 cups flour
• 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 cup butter
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup sugar

directions

1. Sift dry ingredients except sugar. Cut in butter with pastry blender. Beat eggs in a separate bowl. Add sugar to eggs and beat well. Blend egg mixture into flour mixture. Chill well (8+ hours) Roll to 1/8 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet (airbake) 6-8 minutes at 375 degrees until edges are barely golden. Cool, frost, and enjoy!
