Mike's Hot Toddy

"This recipe is the final outcome of trying out different concoctions. I'm not a whiskey drinker, but my BF just can't stop drinking it (whether he's sick or not!) You can use any whiskey you like but he says this one works best."

• Ingredients: 7
• Yields: 1 cup
• Serves: 1

ingredients

• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 2 ounces johnnie walker black label whiskey
• 4 ounces hot water
• 1 dash nutmeg
• 1 dash cinnamon
• 1 dash clove

directions

1. Squeeze a piece of lemon (1 tablespoon) into a microwave-safe mug.
2. Add the spoonful of honey, whiskey and hot water.
3. Microwave until piping hot (maybe 30-45 secs).
4. Add spices to taste.
5. Chase that cold away!

My dh is sick so I went looking for a hot toddy recipe. I finally decided on this one. I'm so glad I did. Fixed it last night for him but he had just taken some cold medicine so guess who drank it? ME! And it was yummy. Thanks, I know I will make again.
