Meatloaf With Raisins

"Loving raisins like I do, I transformed my original meatloaf into one that includes raisins, and I find that, once they get over the idea of raisins in a meatloat, many of my guests allow that it is at the very least "interesting" & enjoyable, if not out right delicious!"

 1. ONE OF THE BEST DINNERS THAT I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME!!! If there was any adjustment I made was that I used 2% milk in place of whole milk. It cut nicely, and the flavor was fabulous. Made for PRMR tag game.

 2. This is the best meatloaf I've ever eaten! Even picky DH liked it! I used buttermilk in place of milk, otherwise, made as directed. Thanks, Sydney Mike! Made for Everyday is a Holiday.

 3. Wow! This is good. DH noticed the raisins right away and gave it 2 thumbs up. I was surprised because I didn't think he would be happy with them in his meatloaf. I cut the recipe in half and used corn flakes cuz that's what I had. This is a delicious change from our normal meatloaf. Has a slight sweet taste to it. Thanks Syd for posting.

 4. This was very delicious! My PICKY roommate even liked it! I used half golden, half regular raisins because that's what I had on hand... I don't think it changed it much at all. Mine sliced nicely. I liked the tang of the raisins mixed with the onions and the worcestershire. Thanks for a great dinner!

 5. I never would have thought to put raisins in a meatloaf! Great idea, we were very pleasantly surprized at how flavourful it was, I will make it again. It had quite a sweetness to it. I put a line of salsa along the top of it and served it over chili, a nice combination! The only problem I had was cutting it, sorry to say it didn't stay together well; but the great flavour made up for it. Thanks for posting.
