Meatloaf Glaze

"I made meatloaf the other night, and realized at the last minute that I didn't have brown sugar or honey for the glaze...so I threw this together. It turned out better than what I normally use, and is replacing the trusty old recipe."

directions

  • Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Glaze meatloaf before baking it.
  • I usually use the extra glaze (if there isn't extra I just make more) and after the meatloaf is finished I put an extra layer on and broil it for a couple of minutes.
  • EAT!

  1. I actually used this as a ham glaze on Easter. I was looking for something that wasn't as sugar laden as most glazes, and this seemed like a good bet. The flavor was great, I didn't put it on the ham early enough for it to actually glaze - it pretty much just stayed in sauce form. Still tasted great. Can't wait to try it on meatloaf. Thanks for posting!
