Marci's Cabbage Casserole

"I took this casserole to a church function and it was a hit! Easy to cut in half. With medium head of cabbage and onion. Just use 1 type of soup. Cream of Celery soup can be substituted."

  • Chop Cabbage and onion.
  • Boil together 10 minutes.
  • Strain and put back in pot.
  • Add mayonnaise, soups, sour cream, 1/2 stick melted butter, and 8 oz. cheese.
  • Mix well.
  • Spray 10.5 X 14.5 casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • Place all mixed ingredients in casserole dish.
  • Top with 8 oz shredded cheese, and French fried onions.
  • Drizzle 1/2 stick melted butter over top.
  • Bake at 325 for 30 minutes.
