Maple-Glazed Chicken

"The actual recipe calls for bone in chicken cooked in the oven at 500F and to brush maple glaze throughout cooking. I liked the bite size pieces."

  1. Very simple, and really yummy. We used thigh fillets, and served it over Chia's fruity couscous.

  2. This recipe is AMAZING. Wow. I did do it a lil different though. I used chicken thighs coated in the spice mix wrapped in foil and baked for 30mins. Then I broiled them basting with the glaze mix. It smelled incredible and was juicy and delicious. The mix of spices took this to another level. I can't wait to make this again.

  3. I loved this recipe! I added a touch of nutmeg and honey. Great way to give chicken some flair.

  4. Very easy recipe. Chicken was very flavorful and my family loved it! I will make this a regular on my menu!

  5. I used about 1/2 tablespoon more maple syrup than the recipe called for. It turned out GREAT! I served it with rice and sugar snap peas, topped with sea salt.

I am in the US Air Force stationed in Florida. I have always liked to cook, but within the last year I seemed to be obsessed with it! I absolutely love to bake and I am always looking for low fat and calorie cooking. I use splenda and butter buds with baking and use whole wheat flour as often as I can. My husband and I don't cheat very often and I substitute alot of your wonderful recipes with lower fat and calorie items.
