Major Grey Chicken Curry

ingredients
- 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced thinly
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 1⁄2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1⁄4 cup curry powder
- 1 cup major grey mango chutney, pureed
- 1 1⁄2 cups whipping cream
- 1 pinch salt
- green onion, chopped, tops only, for garnish
directions
- Fry onion in oil until translucent but not brown. Whisk in curry powder. Cook for 2 minutes. Whisk in pureed chutney and the cream. Add salt to taste.
- Saute sliced chicken breast in a small amount of oil until cooked halfway through, about 3 minutes. Add sauce and simmer until chicken is cooked through, about 10 minutes. Garnish with green onions and serve.
- This is great served over jasmine or basmati rice.

I am soooooooooo anxious to make and try this! I LOVED Shamiana and think of it often even though I moved back to the midwest 20+ YEARS AGO! Over the years I've made my own version, but it's been more butter chicken than Major Grey - so I AM EXCITED! Help me though please - which Major Grey Chutney to use? And pureed to baby food consistency? THANK YOU ALL! Can't WAIT!
