  • Pies: Mix all together with a Mixer, spoon on a cookie sheet what ever size you want.
  • Filling: Mix them all together with a Mixer, put it in the refrigerator if your waiting for the Whoopie Pies to get done.
  • Bake at 400, 8-9 minutes, Set them on a cooling rack.

  1. I made this recipe - a double batch. I was very disappointed with the fact that my cookies came out flat. They should be puffy and cake-like. Serves me right for looking for a shortcut recipe from a box. I even tried adding flour and baking powder to get a rise out of them, but had to scrap the rest of the batter after that didn't work either. I am from Maine, and these are definately not the whoopie pies everyone eats there!
     
  2. I've been experimenting with Whoopie Pie recipes during our summer on Cape Cod. My DH says this "is the best". I made exactly as listed. No baking time listed (which shook me a bit), so I baked them for 8 - 9 minutes and they came out fine. Can't wait to make these for family and friends at home!
