  • Apples, core & peel. Cut to 1/4” size.
  • apples in lemon water.
  • drain apples.
  • sauté apples in butter.
  • season with cinnamon & vanilla.
  • add honey.
  • saute till soft.
  • place Apple in fridge to cool.
  • cut phyllo sheets into quarters.
  • stuff with 2 tablespoons of filling, fold, fork press.
  • egg wash.
  • sprinkle sugar.
  • bake 2 minutes at 400.

Live in East Texas. Love to BBQ & host friends. Traveled the world a lot when I worked, love ethnic foods.  Diabetic, no carb diet, keeping my A1C normal.  But, you won’t find many baked goods since diagnosis.
