Low-Fat, Sugar-Free Mock Latte

I love lattes! I hate the calorie counts. This makes a mug of creamy, satisfying coffee richness. You won't have the foam, but it tastes wonderful.

- 1 cup 1% low-fat milk
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons instant coffee powder
- 2 (1 g) envelopes artificial sweetener (to taste)
directions
- Heat milk in microwave (or stovetop) until simmering.
- Pour into a mug.
- Add coffee powder and sweetner.
- Whisk with a skinny whisk.

This will fool you to death! It tastes so good, and is so easy. I used about 1/3 cup skim milk, but did everything else the same. A great pick me up-I can't get to my favorite coffee shop because of the snow-thankfully I had this recipe to try out & satisfy me!! Thanks so much for sharing. UPDATE: I have also sprinkled cinnamon on top & it was even better!Reply
