  1. Thanks so much for posting! Our family used to have chicken fried steak regularly, but have pretty much stopped eating it. I can't believe that I hadn't heard of this prep method before. We served without the gravy.

  2. Thank you for sharing this wonderful idea - such an easy and tender way to enjoy this dish. Did not have the pork flavored Oven Fry but used Extra Crispy Shake and Bake with great results. Used tin foil over pan for easy clean up. How easy is this!

  3. Wow. This turned out better than I thought. Even the picky eater in our family ate it and said she liked it. We will definitely have this again. I wasn't sure how well I would like it since I grew up eating the fried version, but it tastes even better without all the grease. Plus, it's easier to clean up. Thanks for this recipe!

  4. The only negative thing I can say about this recipe is that there is NEVER enough for my family LOL!!! We love this dish and it was really easy to prepare and since I don't like to fry anything, I found it even easier. It tastes like the Chicken Fried Steak my mom used to make, only without all the extra fat and calories! Thanks for this new regular dinner in our home!

  5. Since DH & I just started a low-fat diet, I was trying to find something to fix that didn't taste like "diet" food. This fits the bill perfectly! The flavor was delicious and actually tasted better to us than a traditionally prepared chicken fry! Thanks for the great recipe!
