Lime Butter Basted Shrimp

- 8 -12 shrimp, frozen, uncooked, thawed and peeled (1 package)
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 lime
- 1⁄2 teaspoon honey or 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon hot sauce or 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
directions
- Preheat barbecue to hight heat and lightly oil grill. Pat shrimp dry using a paper towel.
- Finely grate lime, measure 1 teaspoons zest; stir into melted butter. Halve the lime and squeeze 1 tablespoons juice into buter mixture along with honey, hot sauce and garlic. Divide mixture in half.
- Toss shrimp with half the butter mixture and pepper. Grill until shrimp are firm and opaque, about 2 minutes per side. Brush with remaining butter mixture before serving.

<br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
