Lima Beans and Mushrooms

ingredients
- 1 (10 ounce) box frozen baby lima beans
- 1 clove garlic, minced (I use more)
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1⁄2 teaspoon chives
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- salt
directions
- Cook limas and drain.
- Keep warm.
- Meanwhile, in a skillet cook garlic, chives and basil in butter for 30 seconds over medium heat.
- Add mushrooms and cook 3-4 minutes or until tender.
- Stir into limas.
- Season to taste.

I love Lima beans! Fresh is best but when the season is gone either frozen or canned- I used canned for your recipe.. Got everything ready ahead of time placed it in an oven proof dish covered with foil heated in 350 oven for 25 minutes just before dinner. Enjoyed my dinner Thanks Stephanie for posting a recioe for an under appreciated veggie!
