ingredients
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 2 ounces butter
- 1 large egg yolk (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon lemon essence
- 1 dash salt
- 2 1⁄2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
directions
- Beat all ingredients till light and smooth, five to ten minutes.
- Transfer to a bowl, or covered container, spread on cooled cake, or chill for up to a week.
