Lavender Sugar

Wonderful sprinkled over fritters, donuts, pancakes I could go on and on. Best made when flowers are newly out.

I'm giving this 5 stars just on the smell alone! Made it just one week ago so not quite ready for use. Can't wait! I put my dried lavender leaves into a ball tea infuser so I don't have to worry about the leaves getting into my recipes. Also didn't have castor sugar so I put regular granulated sugar into my Magic Bullet and processed fine.UPDATE 03/26/10: Sorry, I've changed my rating today because even though the smell was there, there was no lavender flavor at all, just plain sugar.
