  • Press together perforated cuts.
  • Cut each rectangle lengthwise into 3 strips.
  • Place strips on casserole to form lattice top.
  • Bake uncovered 15 minutes longer.
  • Top lattice with remaining cheese and onions.
  • Bake uncovered 3-5 minutes or until onions are golden brown.

  1. My family really enjoyed this! We were in the mood for some comfort food, but it needed to be fast & simple. I had almost everything on hand to make this (I always keep baggies of cooked chicken in my freezer for just such occasions). I didn't have any Durkee onions, but I added chopped fresh onions and it still tasted great. Also didn't take the time to make the lattice, but just layed the crescent dough on top of the cheese. Worked perfectly! Thanks for a go-to recipe!
  2. Noone cared for this but me. Family is hard to please at mealtime!
  3. One great dish here. I love those veggies, always keep them on hand. The crunch of the onion rings is great. {love them} Even DS love it & he isn't big on veggies, especially broccoli. Ready to try again
  4. This was a quick and easy weeknight dinner. It was very flavorful and reminded us of a chicken potpie without all the hassle. Plus, it was made with pretty common ingredients you'd probably have on hand. Thanks for the great, quick dinner idea!
  5. This has been one of my potluck staples for almost 15 years and always draws compliments and recipe beat me to posting it, lol! So easy to make with canned and frozen starters. Great 'midwestern' food. :o)
