"Ever see kumquats in the grocery store & wonder what to do with them? I received them in a gift box of citrus fruit from Florida, and this is an excellent nut bread recipe that was in an enclosed flyer."

  1. The recipe was fairly easily to make. The hardest part was removing the tiny seeds from the kumquat. The combination of the nuts and kumquat is delicious. Shared the loaf I made with family and the liked it a lot. Best when eaten hot with butter.

  2. Made this with half all-purpose flour and half whole wheat flour. I had a little extra puree so of course I used it. I liked this with pecans. A beautiful looking loaf, everyone liked it. If anything I might add a little extra brown sugar next time.

  3. i added extra kumquat and vanilla. it was incredible! definatly a recipe to keep around.

  4. We really loved this! You can really taste the kumquats in this, and the texture is perfect. We didn't get every last seed out of the kumquats, but it doesn't seem to matter.
