  • In a large pot, cut bacon into 1" wide pieces and brown.
  • Drain fat and add onions and garlic.
  • Cook until onions and garlic are soft.
  • Add sauerkraut (one can should be drained, use the liquid from the other can).
  • Slice kielbasa into 1/4" to 1/2" pieces and add to pot.
  • Cook on low for 2-4 hours stirring occasionally (the longer the better).
