Kicked up French Fries

"I was inspired by watching chopped the other night and watching one of the contestants take french fries, toss them with a little oil and paprika so I decided to try that with friends for our bimonthly potluck. they turned out great and were actually the hit of the party. one woman went back for four servings of them. so simple, yet so good -- thanks chopped for the inspiration :)"

  1. I am giving this 5 stars because I KNOW the chef on 'CHOPPED' would have loved to do this with real taters!!! Try it~~~just as easy, only I let the taters and oil and spices meld for a few hours in a ziploc bag~~~bake a little longer, maybe at 375*~~~I have done this for years with any kind of white tater, sweet, yams, squash, carrots and recently turnips and parsnips~~~~If you mix it up early enough and have enough spices in there, even the root veggies you don't like will be good!!! And, it will be a LOT HEALTHIER and CHEAPER for being made with real food~~~~thanks!
