Kfc's 11 Herbs and Spices

• Ingredients: 11
• Yields: 1/4 cup

ingredients

• 1 teaspoon ground oregano
• 1 teaspoon chili powder
• 1 teaspoon ground sage
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
• 1 teaspoon pepper
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 tablespoons paprika
• 1 teaspoon onion salt
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 2 tablespoons Accent seasoning

directions

1. Combine all ingredients.

good guess but not right, the salt comes in a separate bag so its not counted in as one of the 11 secret spices. I however do not know what they are just that as a past employee the salt came in a separate bag. And before anyone says it KFC does not use brown sugar in any of its cooking recipes. At one point they did however use msg but a lot of them have stopped using it over the years because its been banned in some states.

Not sure that this tastes like KFC that much, but a good seasoning combo on its own. Sprinkled some on b/s thighs before grilling; will try mixing it with some flour and use on breaded baked chicken. Made for PAC Fall 2011.

I am going to comment on this here as I did on Mr. Douglas's web page... About as far removed from KFC as it can get.
