- 2 1⁄2 lbs country-style pork ribs
- 1⁄4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1⁄4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
directions
- Place ribs in 3 1/2 to 4 quart slow cooker, in small bowl combine all remaining ingredients, mix well, pour over ribs. Cover, cook on low setting for 7-9 hours. Spoon sauce over ribs.

I've had this recipe in a file for a long time now & finally made it! I had to use some OJ concentrate &some water, but it came out well. I would use more liquid next time, as I have an oval-shaped crock pot ,so the ribs were not at all crowded & actually the outside ones dried out a tad. BUT it had a nice light flavor, & wasn't at all sweet, which had been my fear. We just had potatoes with it but I think rice would go well too. Thanks for a recipe that's different from regular 'ole BBQ ribs!
