I tried the original recipe and the second time used frozen peaches and no ice. I preferred the second. After reading the other reviews I tweaked this recipe a little more and think I perfected it. I use only 2 oz of the amaretto and 1/4 oz of lemon juice. I eliminated the ice by using eight frozen peach slices. It is a little thick but if you let it sit just a little bit and stir...yum! GREAT summertime frozen drink! Thanks NMS!Reply

QueenKungFu and I made this recipe this past weekend for her visit up here and really liked them! But WHOA, they were strong!! She brought fresh peaches with her but I think I would have preferred frozen as they would have brought a nice slushiness to this recipe without having to use any ice. The peach and almond flavor went really well together! Thanks Cheryl!Reply

I made this exactly as written. Measured out everything in a 1 ounce shot glass. First, six shots of alcohol in one drink!! This is not a drink for lightweights. The one ounce of lemon juice was a bit overpowering. Surprisingly, I tasted the lemon more than the peach flavor, although the amaretto did shine through. The frozen peaches and ice cream made this a nice and frosty drink for a hot summer evening. I think next time I make this I will cut the lemon in half as well as the amaretto.Reply

This is an adult milkshake! I love the flavor of the amaretto and peach together. It makes a very large amount, as my hurricane glass runth over! Since this does make such a large drink, I may cut the recipe in half next time. I've made it twice now and can't wait to have the girls over to try it. Thanks for a Peachy drink.
