  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt in small bowl, set a side.
  • Beat butter, white sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chunks and cranberries.
  • Drop dough by 1/4 cupfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets, 3 inches apart.
  • Flatten dough with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.
  • Bake 11-12 minutes.

  1. Great cookies. This batch gave me 27 cookies and they needed 15 minutes in the oven. The dough was very stiff but still pliable. I didn't flatten them, just dropped them by rounded tablespoons, they spread out nicely and made large cookies. The combination of chocolate and dried cranberries (which I used) is indeed very nice, both flavours could be tasted. Indeed, very good cookies.<br/>Thanks for posting.<br/>Made for PAC, Spring 2011.
