  • In dutch oven, saute sausage, beef, onion, green pepper, and garlic until meats are no longer pink; drain.
  • Add tomato sauce, paste, water, and seasonings.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in noodles.
  • Put in 13x9 pan and sprinkle with cheeses.
  • Bake at 350* for 30 minutes or until cheese is browned and bubbly.

    Followed recipe to a tee...except added wild rice instead of pasts...it was omazing! Its a keeper!! Five stars

    Seemed similar to a "Spag Bowl" but great flavor. Didn't have egg noodles, so just used rotelli pasta. Also no mozzarella, so combined cheddar, parmesan and edam. Easy, yummy and hit the spot. :D

    My family all really enjoyed this. I doubled it and added some red pepper flakes and used hot italian sausage. It was very easy and cheap to make. Thanks for a great recipe!

    I used only ground beef since I was out of sausage meat. I also used whole wheat egg noodles. My family "LOVED" this meal. I will certainly be making this again. Maybe with ground sausage next time.
