  • Food processor: process garlic, add remaining ingredients and pulse to desired consistency (thin with juice from can if needed).
  • Put hummus in a bowl, sprinkle with a drizzle of olive oil and smoked paprika.

    Lighter and more lemony version of hummus. Very tasty! Cummin could be added, if preferred.

    YuMmY ~~ It has a different taste than what I am used too but ... I loved it! I agree with others that its better the next day.

    I used chickpeas cooked from dried and didn't find I needed to add any liquid. The texture was good, but we found that the lemon flavor was a bit strong. Next time I would reduce it by an ounce or two. We also found that we wanted a bit more of an "earthy" flavor, so we added a little cumin which I have seen in other hummus recipes. Definitely let this sit overnight- the flavor is just not right the first day. Thanks!
