  1. Very, very good! This drink was served to guests after dinner, and it was a hit. I used Mexican cinnamon sticks (it tasted and smelled heavenly). We really enjoyed this drink. Thanks for sharing this delicious treat, Nez.

  2. Since there are only two of us, I halved the recipe and it was great. Thanks for sharing with us!

  3. A very nice spiced cider. I doubled the recipe but only used half the sugar. I used homemade cider and made it in the crockpot. Spices were subtle. Liked the addition of nutmeg. Made for Winter 2010 Comfort Cafe game.

  4. I made this for Christmas Eve and forgot to rate. Excellent!

  5. Delicious on a cold night carving our Halloween pumpkins! I'm going to try with Mexican cinnamon sticks next. Thanks, Mizz Nezz, for a lovely recipe.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
