  • Mix first seven ingredients together in a casserole dish.
  • For the sauce:

  • In a small bowl mix the brown sugar, butter, and boiling water together.
  • The boiling water should be enough to melt the butter.
  • Pour sauce over apple mixture and bake uncovered for 40 minutes at 375°F.

  2. I just popped this in the oven . So quick to make and it looked and smelled good. Can't wait to taste. thank you for a quick recipe. I used an 8 inch square glass baking dish.
     
  3. You will definitely want to double the quantity and make extra. It's too delicious to just have one helping. Its immensely easy with no out of the ordinary or expensive ingredients. You can literally mix it and pop it in the oven while you are boiling the kettle and waiting for your cup of tea to cool down.
