  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Place all ingredients, except chicken, in a small saucepan, and cook, over low heat, for 3 minutes, to melt honey.
  • Whisk a couple of times.
  • Place chicken, skin side down, in a shallow baking pan.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake about 30 minutes.
  • Turn, pour on sauce, season with more salt and pepper.
  • Bake about 20 minutes more longer, until juices run clear when chicken is pierced, basting once or twice.

    This is very nicely flavoured chicken. The sauce is a bit thin and didn't stick to the chicken as much as some do. I did find that basting it as I took it out of the oven and letting it rest for several minutes did allow the sauce to get a bit thicker and stickier. Thanks Ev, for a very good dinner!

    We really enjoyed this recipe. I had to make one adjustment, that being I substituted orange juice for the lemon juice when I realized I had no lemons or juice. This was made for ZTW3.
