- 1⁄2 cup white rum
- ginger
- 2 cups cranberry juice
directions
- Pour white rum into pitcher.
- Add a thin slice of peeled ginger. Using handle of a wooden spoon, crush ginger to release juices.
- Stir in 2 cups cold cranberry juice.
- Serve in martini glasses.

Rum and cranberry...mmmm! I'm updating my review because originally I couldn't taste the ginger "juice" in the drink as the recipe stands. I suggested adding ginger puree,ginger syrup or ginger liquor for a stronger flavor. Now four days later, I took my carafe out of the refrigerator and the cranberry-rum mixture has a delightful ginger flavor - so I now suggest making it in advance and "marinating" for a few days. Also the piece of ginger turned a gorgeous deep red color!Reply
