  • 1 cup rice (Himalayan Red, well rinsed)
  • 2 cups water (or broth)
  • 12 teaspoon salt

  • place rice, water, and salt in pot and bring to a boil.
  • Stir, reduce heat to low, and cover.
  • Cook 35 minutes.
