Hidden Pear Salad

"This is one of my kids' favorite 'salads'! They love the pear flavor - and of course the jello flavor, too! This is quick & easy! Can be eaten as a salad or as a dessert. We've served it both ways. ENJOY!"

  1. OH WOW !!!!This is light , fruity and LUSCIOUS !!!! This has quickly become a family favorite around here. Great summer dessert . I would give you more stars if I could ! THANKS for posting this !

  2. This is so good. Its almost the same as a long time friend of the family used to make. Except she used lemon jello and put whip cream and nuts on top.

  3. This was a salad from my husband's childhood; he was very happy when I found it for him again (and so were the kids!)...they all gave it five stars. It is a unique blend of creamy and tangy at the same time. The only change I made was to add about 1 cup of mini-marshmallows. Thanks so much for posting!

  4. I Tserved this with our St. Patty's Day dinner. I only had a small amount (1/4 cup) of Cool Whip, but it was wonderfully creamy, a texture like ultra thick pudding. You really taste the pears in the flavor. We all enjoyed this with our chicken shepard's pie. Roxygirl
