"I found this recipe in a cookbook entitled Grandma's Best Loved Recipes. Really quick and easy to throw together and tastes similar to baked spaghetti."

  1. This recipe was so easy and quick to make. I loved the ease and how great it tasted. The flavors melded together well. Thanks for posting. Reviewed for ZWT4.

  2. This is a great dish. Makes plenty for two nights worth of meals for family of 4. Serve with a salad and viola! Very easy to put together. I used the cottage cheese and extra mozzarella.

  3. It's almost like a mixed-up all-in-one lasagna. The ricotta takes away from the acidity of the spaghetti sauce. I used fresh mushrooms and added chopped onion, too. I added them plus the green peppers to the sausage as I browned it. Thanx for new family-pleasing meal!

<p>Update: &nbsp;I have changed my profile picture in honor of my dear best friend and loyal companion that I lost to cancer on 6/25/11. Maxx was the best dog that anyone could ever hope to have in their life. &nbsp;Until we meet again, sweet boy, you will be forever in my heart and memories. I currently live in the country with two dogs (a 12 pound&nbsp;poodle mix&nbsp;named Suki and a new member to the family, a 7-month old(?) 7.5 pound terrier mix named Angel ). &nbsp; I got Angel from the dog pound a week after I lost my beloved Maxx. &nbsp;Suki and I both needed a new companion to help us cope with our loss. &nbsp;Nothing will ever replace Maxx, but she has helped to uplift Suki's spirit.
