ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey, cooked
- 2 cups brown rice, cooked
- 1 (15 ounce) can baby corn, drained
- 1 (28 ounce) can chop suey vegetables
- 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, sliced and drained
- 1⁄2 cup onion, sliced
- 1 cup pea pods
- salt
- pepper
- red pepper flakes
- soy sauce
directions
- Combine all ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Season to taste.

Fast, easy, tasty, AND healthy! What more could you want? I used frozen veggies asin stir fry veggies which had water chestnuts, corn and chop suey vegtables in it. Also I scaled this down to use about 4 oz ground turkey for one small serving. I used low sodium soy sauce and added just a tiny touch of sesame oil and sesame seeds for garnish. Love this dish! So simple and tasty! -
Sorry one day late in posting. This was quite good. I especially liked the sodim level (not to undermine the taste. I will make this again

I'm a mother to 5 boys ages 15-21, you could make that 6 boys if you add my husband. We have a "blended" family. This is the second marriage for both of us. I have 2 boys from the previous marraige and he has 3. Here's a picture of Jer(21 & shorter),Brandon(18,my 2), and my mom. I couldn't find a picture of the other 3 while smiling (they hide when I bring out the camera). I also work full time. Always looking for great/easy recipes. We have 3 cats, Susie, Dave and Ziggy. Chuck and Harry are the newest arrivals, puppy's. I forgot how much work they are. We love to go camping but never have the time. I also love to read but again, not enough time.
