Hawaiian Sweet and Sour Meatballs on a Stick

This is a wonderful Amuse Bouche or tasting bite. They taste great, are easy to handle and look wonderful

ingredients
- 1 lb meatballs (20-25 1-inch, use your favorite recipe or use frozen if you must)
- 15 ounces pineapple chunks (fresh is always better, however canned works well)
- 2 bell peppers, cut into 1-inch pieces (green, yellow, red and or or orange)
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup vinegar (I use apple cider)
- toothpick
directions
- Cook the meatballs.
- In microwave or on stove top cook the peppers until just tender.
- Place pepper, meatball and then pineapple on a toothpick.
- Mix brown sugar and vinegar until thoroughly mixes.
- Arrange on platter or on small tasting plates.
- Drizzle a little sauce over the top of each.
