Harvest Pumpkin Soup

Got this recipe from a body cleansing diet book. It is quite tasty.

ingredients
- 1 onion, large, diced
- 3 celery, stalks. diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 cups pumpkin, canned
- 6 cups vegetable broth
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cumin
- 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch clove
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 pinch ginger
- salt, to taste
- 1 cup half-and-half
directions
- Add the first 11 ingredients into stock pot over medium high heat.
- Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer. Simmer for 30 minutes and remove from heat.
- Allow to cool for 15 minutes. Puree soup in blender and return to pot. Finish with milk.
