  • Cube beef and place in hot oil with onions, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir untli meat is coated with paprika (paprika burns easily so stir until meat releases juices and danger of burning is lessened.) Add water 1/2 cup at a time as needed and simmer until meat is tender. Add potato cubes and continue to cook. Before it is quite done, add tomatoes.
