  • Fry the ground turkey, onion and garlic in large non-stick frying pan for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add zucchini and mushrooms.
  • Cook for 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until turkey is no longer pink.
  • Drain.
  • Add water, spaghetti sauce, basil,and oregano.
  • Heat until boiling.
  • Add pasta.
  • Reduce heat.
  • Cover.
  • Simmer for 30 minutes or until pasta is tender but firm and liquid is mostly absorbed.
  • Add mozzarella cheese.
  • Stir until melted.

  1. Wonderful recipe. I didn't have mushrooms so I added red and yellow bell pepper as well as substituting the red sauce for alfredo sauce and it was superb!!!
     
  2. Cooked exactly as directed the recipe is quite bland...definitely not a repeat. Leave the pasta out of turkey mixture & cook it seperately, may help. My husband had to add hot sauce to make it more pleasurable to eat. Leave out the mozerella and add parmesan on top when serving.
