I totally hated ground turkey until I tried this recipe. People don't even know ground turkey is in it; until you tell them;so don't.This chili is mild so any one can eat it.

My family, including my two picky eaters love this recipe. I have tweaked it slightly by adding a step in the beginning where i brown a little bit of brown sugar in the pot before adding the ground turkey, onion, and green pepper. I get a caramelization going on the meat and carry on as per the recipe. It adds a bit more colour and flavour to the dish, still keeping the traditional flavours of a chili that everyone loves so much. I also used half the chili powder for my kids as they said it was still a little spicy for them. Perfect fall recipe!Reply

I loved the name of the recipe so much I had to try it (to fool my kids). Neither could tell it was turkey and both thought it was great. I did a little deconstruction and made it without beans (one kid does not like beans) and put them on the side. I even made corn to mix in. This was a hit and very easy to make, definitely will make it again.Reply

Pretty good. Title made me laugh cause my dad complains about ground turkey but he can't eat beef anymore. I bought "Italian style" ground turkey or whatever that means but this was still good even without salt. Though I just used a can of regular diced tomatoes and added a little bit of cayenne pepper, some pieces of turkey bacon and some carrots to it.Reply
