Ground Pork Tacos

"I was searching for a way to use up some ground pork, and found this on a pork association website. I've altered the original recipe slightly, to suit our tastes. This is just as quick and easy to make as the standard hamburger and store-bought seasoning packet version, with a different flavor that's sure to please!"

  1. This was really good! I am 14 and wanted to make dinner for my mom and this was the perfect meal to make! i didn't have garlic powder so i just put in crushed garlic. I also fried the tortialls!

  2. I had a few pounds of original breakfast pork sausage that needed using, so that is what I used. Perfect. We all really liked this recipe. I served some meat on tortillas and some meat on tostadas. Tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, etc. toppings. I'll make this recipe over and over. I did drain the sausage after browning.

  3. THIS WAS AMAZING! I cannot believe how good the pork was--we like it better than beef tacos now! Definitely going down in my recipe book. If you like to cook with alcohol (and sometimes add it to the food ;) ) throw in a splash of Corona or Tecate for just a little extra. :)

  4. Tasty recipe with just the right amount of heat. I served it as a side dish but will make it again for tacos or tostados. I used fresh tomatoes and added a bit of tomato juice. We enjoyed out dinner very much Made again this time with a whole wheat tortilla Mmm

  5. Great way to make tacos without a lot of fuss. The ground pork adds great flavor that makes this so different from ordinary ground beef tacos.
