  • In a medium, non-reactive bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, garlic, black pepper and crushed red pepper.
  • Set aside.
  • Thread thawed shrimp onto skewers and cover with marinade for 30 minutes.
  • Preheat grill for high heat.
  • Grill, brushing occasionally with extra marinade, for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until done.

    This was good, just nothing special. Garlic and butter flavor could have been amped up. I have several other Scampi recipes, including grilled ones, that I prefer over this.

    For those wondering how to make the spaghetti like the image, make extra marinade and set it aside separately for the pasta. Finish the spaghetti in a large, deep frying pan with the extra marinade. Just a quick hot fry; enough to blend the flavors.
