"From the Ultimate Barbeque cookbook. I made it 2 times in the weekend. It's very good. I ate them with butter."

directions

  • Preheat grill to medium-high.
  • Scrub the potatoes but do not peel them.
  • Place the potatoes in the microwave oven and cook on high for 4 minutes, until slightly soft. Let the potatoes cool for a few minutes, then cut in half. Place the potatoes in a plastic bag and drizzle with the olive oil and garlic, then sprinkle with the salt. Twist the bag to seal, allowing some of the air to remain in the bag. Toss gently to coat the potatoes evenly.
  • Remove the potatoes from the bag, place on the grill for 5 minutes. Turn the potatoes and continue to grill for 5 more minutes. Turn the potatoes again and grill for about 5 additional minutes on each side, until the potatoes are fork-tender and lightly browned.

Yummy! I made ours with seasoned salt instead of garlic. Really good and very simple. I will make these babies again

Wow! Family loved this! Especially my 3year old kept grabbing more of them an hour after dinner he even grabbed one to take in the car! I wanted to try a recipe where we could make all of dinner on the grill it's been 100degrees every day for weeks andmy hubby prefers not heating up the house by cooking inside. So thank you! I used an old bread bad to shake in, hate using ziplocks for just shaking so save your bread bags! I also added a little season salt along with sea salt loved the garlic! Will make again!

Wow! Delicious potatoes! I didn't cook quite as long in either the microwave or over the grill, because I had small potatoes. But left the garlic and olive oil the same. Turned out to be absolutely delicious! Thanks boomie!
