This recipe is from Company's Coming Greatest Hits Mexican. It's a wonderful creamy dessert dish that is almost like a Danish pastry but much lower in calories.

I liked this and so did my picky 9 year old. It was a good breakfast and could be a nice dessert substitute for Apple pie. I would definitely eat this again. I did briefly cook my diced apples with cinnamon and stevia 1st in the microwave because I didn't want them crunchy. Also, I didn't have cream cheese so greek yogurt was a substitute that worked well.Reply

I didn't have any cream cheese so used Fage 0% plain greek yogurt. I was only cooking for one so used one small flour tortilla folded in half. One banana was going to be too much so I used strawberry jam. These were every bit as good as the cheese and fruit tortas at Frontera Grill at O'Hare airport.Reply
