Congrats on your Superbowl Football Pool Win!!! Made this last night as I found some ginger and ginger ale as I was cleaning out cabinets. I was well pleased with the outcome of this fantastic beverage! The flavor of the ginger really added a lot to the green tea and even both pregnant daughters liked it.

I actually enjoyed this! I say that because I "really" dislike green tea...a lot. That said I have a good deal of it that was sent to me from China by a friend and I can't give the stuff away. I decided to try this for Culinary Quest 2014 figuring that if I didn't like it I'd simply never mention it as I know it would have been just me and not the recipe at all. However, this is very good and I'm going to stock up on gingerale. I'll now start using that tea with a smile. Thank you twiss dolling. :D

I really enjoyed this. Used family sized green tea bags and crystallized ginger. I loved the fizzy addition of the ginger ale - I used Izze's All Natural Sparkling Ginger Soda - Delicious!! Thanks for posting, this will be a great addition to the bbq's this summer - light and refreshing!! Made for your FOOTBALL POOL WIN 2010!

I am an American transplanted from Dallas to Iceland by marriage to a native Icelander & I retired to become his "Kitchen Queen". We love to entertain our family & friends, so I have an eclectic collection of recipes. I especially love simple, easy-fix, flexible & make-ahead recipes - BUT also like challenging myself on occasion. I enjoy baking & food photography. I am devoted to the "More is Always Better Principle" & apply it liberally to bacon, butter & garlic. I can have ingredient issues due to availability here in Iceland & my DH is medically diet-restricted from some ingredients as well. Either situation might require me to modify a recipe, but I will do my best to be true to your recipes & fair/honest in my reviews. Mary Pat (aka twissis)
