ingredients
- 2 lbs green beans, cut
- 1 medium onion, peeled and chopped
- 8 ounces canned mushrooms, drained
- 2 tablespoons garlic salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄4 cup slivered almonds (optional)
directions
- In saucepan add green beans and onion and cover with water.
- Bring to boil and boil until beans and onions are tender, about 10 minutes.
- Drain.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook until flavors are well blended, about 5 minutes.

These are great! Very easy! The beans cook perfectly this way. I love the beans with mushrooms and almonds! I got home with my beans and looked at my spices and realized I had garlic powder instead of garlic salt so I used 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 1/2 tsp Lawry's Seasoned Salt. Thank you! Will definitely make these again!!
